The Institute for Investigations on Language and Culture (Invelec, Conicet-Sunt) recently participated in the 49th International Book Fair, Within the framework of the “Tucumán Day”. In this context, referents of the double dependence center based in the aforementioned province The digital and institutional repository of free and free access presented in societywhich collects an important number of scientific and literary productions originated at the local level in the field of social sciences and humanities.
The dissertation was in charge of Lourdes Núñez, support personnel (CPA) of Invelec, and Silvia Camuña, director of letters of the cultural entity of Tucumán, who also officiated as a moderator and gave a few words during the opening in one of the most relevant events for literature, research and scientific dissemination of the country. This initiative demonstrates the imprint and institutional commitment to the democratization of knowledge and the federalization of cultural production.
It should be noted that the repository brings together scientific works and literary productions in the Noa region, with special focus on issues such as socio -educational inclusion, cultural and linguistic studies. It is a file- explains Núñez- that is built from materials digitized by the Institute itself, with the implementation of specialized equipment, and also nourishes with contributions from allied institutions. “It is very important that this work, which we have been developing for years, can leave the spaces closed and reach an international event,” says the co -responsibility of the repository with his colleague in Invelec, Javier Barcena. It also values the opportunity to participate in events of this nature, since they consider that they are conducive to generate ties with other specialists and institutions and bring the resources available to diverse publics, such as older people interested in access to knowledge in digital format.
The participation of the Institute- directed and co-directed by the researchers Constanza Padilla and Rosana Nofal, respectively- in this renowned fair was possible thanks to the joint work between the government of Tucumán, the Federal Investment Council (CFI) and the cultural entity of Tucumán. The provincial delegation was made up of authors, editors, researchers and agencies that represent the wealth and plurality of Tucumán’s cultural production.
