The pork exports of Santa Catarina totaled 58 400 tons in March. The volume represents a 5.1 % drop compared to February, but an increase of 10.0 % compared to the same month of 2024.
In terms of income, shipments generated USD 143.7 million, a 3.5 % drop compared to the previous month, but a significant increase of 22.3 % compared to March last year.
In the first quarter of 2025, the State exported 175 600 tons, with revenues of USD 423.3 million, increases of 9.3 % in volume and 19.7 % in financial value compared to the same period of 2024.
The result consolidates the best first quarter of history in both indicators, reinforcing the optimistic projections of the sector for the year. Santa Catarina was responsible for 54.0 % of the volume and 54.5 % of the income of Brazilian pork exports in the first quarter, reaffirming its leadership in the international market.
