In the Megacenter Shareholders Board, held on Thursday morning, the new conformation of the Board of Directors was approved, who will be chaired by Moreno, who was already director of the company. In this way, the employer happens in office to Hernán Bésomi, founding partner of the firm, who will continue as part of the board of directors.
The new president of the Board of Directors is a Chilean Industrial and Business Civil Engineer. He has occupied relevant positions both in the public and private sector. In addition to being recently appointed director of Codelco, He was president of the CPC, and has been part of the directories of companies such as Dersa, Falabella and the Teletón Foundation. In the public sphere, he has been Minister of Foreign Affairs, Social Development and Public Works during the governments of Sebastián Piñera.
Along with this appointment, The entrance to the directory of René Lehuedé Fuenzalida, director of companies and expert in corporate finance was also formalized. Civil Builder by profession, Lehuedé was general manager of the Bank of Chile and later of the Bice Bank. He also integrated the directories of Bicecorp, Bice Life Insurance Company, Cencosud Shopping, Probe, Puerto Lirquén, Ports and Logistics and Central Port.
