Meanwhile, The usefulness of the cu -linked cellar increased 87.7% in the period, going from $ 1,604 million in the first quarter of 2024 to $ 3,010 million in the same period of 2025.
“This increase is mainly explained by lower taxes, due to greater monetary correction product of the increase in inflation in the period, added to the effect of the depreciation of the peso in the valorization of investments abroad,” said VSPT in their reasoned analysis.
-Zoom to the different markets where the vineyard participates, VSPT experienced a decrease in income in Chile compared to the same period of the previous year of 1.1%, reaching $ 24,773 million. This decrease is explained by a lower sales volume by 9.1%, even when the average sale price grows 8.8% in the quarter.
On the other hand, In the international market, income grew by 1% compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching $ 29,750 million. This growth, the winery indicated, is mainly due to the best average prices in dollars by 1.4%, which was partially counteracted due to the 0.4% decrease in volumes, all compared against the first quarter of 2024.
Finally, For the first quarter of this year the income of the Argentine market grew by 26.7% compared against the same period of the previous yeardue to volume growth of 18.7% and dollars in dollars of 22.2%, explained mainly by the low base of comparison of the previous period due to the devaluation of the Argentine peso at the time.
