The morning of this Sunday, April 20, a transit sinister was reported that affected three people in Machachi’s toll in southern Quito.

The car was completely shattered and trapped under the body of the heavy vehicle.
Firefighters carried out extraction work to rescue injured people, including a minor.
One of the lanes, close to the toll, was disabled until the authorities concluded the cleaning work and investigated the possible cause of the incident.
Those affected were evaluated in the ambulances that went to the area and, subsequently, transferred to nearby health houses for better monitoring.
The artery did not have to close completely, since the vehicular load was not high at the time the incident was recorded.
