His identity, his age and the real reason why he fled the police to the point of playing his life crossing the highway through Marbella is unknown. He had the bad luck that a car rolled it and killed him on the spot.
It happened last Sunday, May 4, at 1:52 p.m., at kilometer 1051 of the A-7 within the Marbellí municipal term. The run over, a young man of about 25 years, jumped the fence that separates the road and invaded the highway to try to cross it. He failed to do it.
But the accident had a story behind. The young man had gotten on the road to try to pass to the other side because, in reality, he tried to escape a patrol of the national Police, who had gone to identify him because he did not want to leave the tourist floor he occupied.
As this newspaper has been able to know, the intervention began following a call to the 091 room for an incident related to a holiday home. After interviewing the parties, they verified that the reason was that a family should enter to enjoy the tourist floor, but the guest who had to leave refused to do so.
The national police asked the young man to identify and he showed them a document on his mobile phone. The agents looked at the image, but the photograph did not give them enough guarantees and asked him to accompany them to the police station to identify him correctly.
The young man agreed to go with them. The police walked with him to the patrol car. Everything ran normally until, when he was about to get on the vehicle, the young man fled to the race. First he crossed some bushes and, just after, he jumped to the road.
The sources consulted indicated that the documentation he had initially shown was false, so, at the close of this edition, the police were still working to find out their true identity. The agents believe that, with her, they will obtain a response to the reason for their escape, which for now remains an unknown.
