Introduction
As legal representative of Goldmedalist, I would like to present the official position of the company in relation to the statements made during the press conference held today by the YouTube channel Hoverlab Inc. (hereinafter “Hoverlab”) entitled [Emisión de emergencia] “Kim Soo Hyun press conference on the exposition of serious crimes.”
Our position on the audio recording claimed by Hoverlab
During the press conference, Hoverlab said he had obtained an audio recording in which the late actress Kim Sae Ron appeared. However, this audio file is totally false. Goldmedalist has determined that the recording was created using AI or similar technology. The person who provided this audio file to Hoverlab (hereinafter, “the supplier of the audio file”) is a scammer who also contacted Goldmedalist, stating a recording in which the deceased Kim Sae Ron made favorable statements to actor Kim Soo Hyun. The audio file supplier demanded money from Goldmedalist and sent him a part of the recording, which was manipulated to imitate the voice of the deceased Kim Sae Ron. Goldmedalist did not meet any of the supplies of the supplier.
The audio file provider is someone who could not have had any contact with the late Kim Sae Ron. When he failed his attempt to cheat Goldmedalist, he was conspired with Hoverlab to publish the falsified audio file. As mentioned above, Goldmedalist believes that the supplier used AI or similar means to falsify a recording of the voice of the deceased Kim Sae Ron. We are currently performing a technical analysis of the file and we will share the results as soon as they are available.
-As for the supposed “photo of the attack” claimed by Hoverlab
Hoverlab also said during the press conference that the audio file supplier was attacked by instigation of Goldmedalist or the lawyer Kho Sang Rock and published an alleged “photo of the attack” as evidence. This statement lacks any foundation and cannot be tolerated; In addition, it is completely unreasonable from the point of view of common sense. In fact, the “photo of the attack” presented by Hoverlab is an image that can be easily found through a simple internet search. Hoverlab and the audio file provider are falsely presenting a photo downloaded from the Internet as proof of an attack.
Goldmedalist response plan towards Hoverlab
This Hoverlab press conference is another invention, mounted as a form of cyber attack against actor Kim Soo Hyun by Hoverlab, which is now cornered due to its defamation, harassment, cyber sex crimes and evidence manipulation. Goldmedalist is dismayed by this press conference, which serves as a definitive proof that the numerous previous statements of Hoverlab have also been false and manufactured. Such Hoverlab actions constitute a new type of crime through the use of AI and represent a serious criminal act aimed at destroying the character of actor Kim Soo Hyun based on counterfeit evidence. Those responsible will have to account and face the corresponding punishment. Goldmedalist will immediately file complaints and criminal charges against Hoverlab for violation of the law of punishment of harassment and the Law for the Promotion of the Use of Information and Communications and Information Protection Networks (defamation). We will do everything possible, in close collaboration with the research authorities, to ensure that Hoverlab is punished in accordance with the law and principles.
