He President Gabriel Boric unfrapped the unchecking of the official presidential candidates of his administration, especially after the last sayings of Carolina Tohá.
Recall that the ex -minister of the interior has made differences with the currency, ensuring – for example – that “security and growth were not from the first day in the government.”
“I don’t want to make a government equal to this, I think this government was the result of a moment of necessity and a very serious crisis that was caused after the situation that happened and was the result to the first constitutional process,” Tohá pointed out a few weeks ago in zero tolerance.
In this regard, President Buric ruled out that this uncheck of Minister Tohá generates some concern, taking into account the continuity of the political project he heads.
“I am not worried at all, because what I want is for progressivism to be a majority, and to be a majority you have to go beyond the government and, therefore, it seems to me, not only with respect to the candidate Tohá, but also of all the elementary candidates, who have to mark their emphasis,” pointed out.
“So welcome, I’m not going to controversy with them,” The president insisted, who is in Brazil on an official visit to that country.
In that line, he highlighted the primary of the ruling party, where the different flag bearers of the Government Coalition parties will compete.
“It seems to me that the news that progressivism has broad elementary calls is good news that gives an account, in addition to the different leaderships of the sector,” he said.
“And I am at least happy with that and how good there is debate inside progressivism and that does not happen everywhere,” he added, in an evening allusion to the right, which failed to agree on a primary.
