Historical operation in Concepción left more than 33 thousand methamphetamine pills seized. This is the greatest seizure of synthetic drugs in the south of the country.
The action was led by Carabineros del OS7, in coordination with the Criminal Analysis Unit of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office of Bío Bío.
This allowed to dismantle a criminal gang composed of Chileans and Venezuelans. The operation was deployed in the Metropolitan, Maule and Bío Bío regions, with the arrest of 6 people.

The General of Carabineros, Renzo Miccono, explained that the investigation began in the Bío Bío and It was subsequently deployed to the other regions.
