Daneidy Barrera Rojas, known as Epa Colombia, was sentenced to five years and two months in prison for its participation in vandalism during the protests of the national strike in November 2019.
The Supreme Court of justice ratified this judgment on January 29, 2025, following what was issued by the Superior Court of Bogotá in the second instance. The charges against them include damage to others, disturbance to the public service of collective or official transport, and instigation to commit crimes for terrorist purposes. This last position cost him the possibility of fulfilling his sentence in house prison, a fact that is a reason for national debate.

Despite having paid approximately 450 million Colombian pesos in fines on behalf of these facts, the Supreme Court confirmed the deprivation of liberty, arrested the president’s businesswoman on January 27 in one of its hairdressers in Bogotá and transferred to the El Buen Pastor Penitentiary Center.
