BRAYAN SNAITHER CAMPO PILLIMUE He was sentenced to 58 years in prison (700 months) for the femicide of Sofia Delgado Zúñiga, 12 years old, who was found lifeless on October 17, 2024 in a Cañaduzal in the municipality of Candelaria, Valle del Cauca.
The child of the child reported the news through a statement in which it is read: “Today, May 2, 2025, one day before Sofia’s birthday, the conviction against Mr. Brayan Campo Pillimue was issued.” Added in the text that this sentence “It corresponds to one of the highest penalties that has been imposed in the history of Colombia for this type of crime.”

Campo Pillimue, who confessed his crime before the authorities, had abduced Sofia on September 29, 2024, when she went to her tent calledto “croquettes and accessories Chimuelo”, To buy a shampoo from your dog. Seeing that the child did not return home, family, community and police began an exhaustive search for the sector, which lasted 18 days.
The remains of the girl Sofia were found on October 17 of that year, after following the clues that this man had given to the authorities moments after his capture.
At that time, the Prosecutor’s Office formally accused him of four crimes, of which he accepted all responsibilities: aggravated feminicide, Simple aggravated kidnapping, temple tempted, aggravated and concealment, alteration and Destruction of probative material.
Evelyn Julieth Rodas Patiñoa condemned couple, they were also arrested, but later he was released due to lack of evidence for his arrest. However, the woman continued linked to the investigation to determine if she really participated in the crime.
“They captured us and asked me to speak to Brayan to confess everything. I did it, but he always looking me in the eye told me that he had not been, that he was innocent. This long condemnation is similar to that of Rafael Uribe Noguera, sentenced to 51 years in prison in 2017 by the brutal murder of the girl Yuliana seventhí, who was also kidnapped and raped in an exclusive apartment in Bogotá.
