For the anniversary of his birth, the Justicialist party (PJ) of San Juan will pay an emotional tribute to Eva Perón in the square that bears his name, located in the capital. The commemoration will take place this Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. and the presence of party authorities, outstanding figures of local Peronism and militants who wish to honor the memory of one of the most emblematic figures in Argentine history is expected.
The act, organized jointly by the four departmental boards of capital, conception, homeless and Trinidad, will be held in the Plaza Eva Perón, located at the intersection of Avenida Rawson and Juan Jufre, in Villa América. Under the slogan “everything we can give, and even more”, the initiative seeks to strengthen the ties of San Juan Peronism and keep alive the legacy of Evita, symbol of social struggle, justice and workers’ rights.
The call generated expectation in the political and social sphere of the province, since it represents an opportunity for different sectors of local Peronism to express their commitment to the values that he avoided during his life. The organization of the tribute was in charge of the four departmental boards, which coordinated activities and mobilizations to guarantee a significant and participatory day.

The presence of recognized authorities and figures of the party will be key to enhance the ceremony and transmit a message of continuity and commitment to Evita’s ideals.
The square that bears his name, a symbol of collective memory, will be the perfect scenario to remember a woman who marked Argentine history and who, even today, inspires entire generations to fight for a more fair and egalitarian country. The community is invited to participate and accompany this tribute that will undoubtedly remain in the memory of all San Juan as an act of respect and recognition of the figure of Eva Perón.
