The mayor of Ciudad Valles, David Armando Medina Salazar, said that the woman who was exhibited in social networks for colliding two vehicles and running out, was consigned to the corresponding authorities, after the facts.
During the long weekend a woman named Wendy N., collided two vehicles in apparent drunk state and although at first she was arrested by municipal police, she was subsequently released, after making a call with a person, who assure, it was an councilor of that municipality.
“Yes it was consigned, I have the images but for obvious reasons I do not share them. It is a media issue, at the time she was not in flagrance, she was no longer in the place of the events, but there was a demand by one of the damaged vehicles,” he said in an interview.
The mayor denied that a Regidor Vallense has helped the woman to avoid being arrested, he also ruled out that the municipal officers have acted badly, reiterating that the arrest could not be carried out at the time of the events, because she was not found in flagrance.
“The truth is that no, I talked to the councilor, he says they have no relationship with her,” said Medina Salazar, who reiterated that the driver was arrested to respond for the damage he caused and subsequently was released.
