People with diabetes have a greater risk of developing heart failure, which requires an active screening of this complication among these patients.
This was presented at the XXXVI National Congress of the Federation of the Spanish Diabetes Society (FSED), which since Wednesday is held in A Coruña and is closed on this day.

“Digital twins are not science fiction, they are here and, in the case of type 2 diabetes, we have shown that it is possible to model the clinical evolution of patients using predictive models (known as digital twins) based on artificial intelligence applied to real data,” he said also.
