In a new milestone of the “work with quality of life” program by Senda Valparaíso, 11 companies were certified by Senda and 7 new were incorporated into the preventive process that enlass ENAP since 2013.
With the participation of representatives of 12 collaborating companies and managers of the management area of third parties of ENAP Aconcagua, a new meeting of the “Work with quality of life” program (TCV), promoted by Senda Valparaíso, which seeks to promote protective and healthy work environments to prevent alcohol consumption and other drugs.
during the day, 11 companies received their certification for having satisfactorily implemented the strategies and components of the TCV program during the year 2024, and thus also signed their commitment to continuity in the strengthening of organizational cultures that prioritize the integral well -being of their teams, by the year 2025 and by the hand of Senda.
“We are a company with more than 700 workers, then, we indeed need this path so that when we have these alerts or a worker is detected or we ask us for help, we can have a coordination,” said Pedro Rodríguez, manager of engineering people and industrial maintenance Erres, one of the companies that renewed the commitment to the execution of the TCV.
Along the same lines, Álvaro Pérez, an expert in risk prevention of the Company Engineering Alto Sur, stressed that the strategies and content delivered by program professionals, in coordination with ENAP Aconcagua, not only contribute to their individual well -being but also to their social and family environments.
“We have tried to involve all the parties of the company, in this case to the Joint Committee, to the company’s union, and have served fed up. People have reflected, also important that workers have taken all the experience or everything they have learned here to their homes, have reflected with their children, with their wife,” said the professional.
Meanwhile, during the meeting 7 new contractor companies signed their incorporation into the program, thus initiating a process that aims to install a preventive culture in its work spaces, in coordination with path and in line with the principles that ENAP Aconcagua promotes since 2013.
“Different contractor companies have been sensitized with the issue and have seen the impact that address the topics around alcohol and drug consumption prevention has in their workers. It has been a joint work that has also allowed different prevention strategies and obviously linked to the work context to reduce risks around the accident rate,” explained Glenda Velásquez, a psychologist of Metaproject On the side ENAP Aconcagua.
Finally, from the Regional Directorate of Senda Valparaíso, Carlos Colihuechún Brevis, highlighted the commitment of ENAP Aconcagua with promoting a preventive organizational policy and an action plan in case of detection of consumption cases in workers or workers, from a health and participatory perspective.
“Not only ENAP generates high standards of operation with its workers, but also makes it expansive to companies that provide services and that keeps us very happy in the sense that it is a preventive culture that expands, which is established as a standard,” explained Carlos Colihuechún Brevis, director of Senda Valparaíso.
