More than 210 students of the Francisco Villa Elementary School located in Pueblo San Juan Ixhuatepec, are benefited from the opening of the third ‘cuisine of the well -being’ in which they can taste healthy and well seasoned foods, while avoiding consuming junk products that harm their development.
The municipal president Raciel Pérez Cruz indicated that girls, boys, mothers and fathers are the main engine of his government, so through this program it is sought that no one in Tlalnepantla falls asleep with hunger, in addition to building spaces of coexistence that generate more united and close communities.
He added that this initiative also supports women who work hard to carry out their families, since, for 15 pesos their children will receive a complete and balanced diet so that they have the opportunity to occupy their time in other tasks.
After sharing a Milanese, Codito Soup, Pope of Pope and Tamarindo water with the student community, the mayor recognized the effort of the personnel that the cuisine of the well -being, “they and they will be here very warmly and have a great seasoning. We already tried the food of two kitchens that we have opened and everything is delicious.”
Rodrigo Santoyo, responsible for the Welfare Kitchen Area, said that this program is aligned with the national campaign led by President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo to combat the consumption of junk food within the educational schools, so through this public policy the foundations of a food culture are sown that allows girls and boys to become a healthier generation.
The director of this educational institution, Manuel Ramos Moreno said that “the well -being cuisine represents much more than a simple place to eat, it is a symbol of unity, commitment and well -being for our community, especially the reason that summons us today that our girls and boys are.”
