The Caldas governorate announced the destination of More than $ 50 billion of the General Royalties System (SGR) for the execution of five strategic projects in Road Infrastructure, Urban Development and Recreation. The investment will impact the municipalities of Palestine, Manizales, Pácora, Salamina, La Merced, Neira and Marmato.

Among the outstanding projects are:

Road Intervention Three doors – Alto El Paisa (Palestine – Manizales):
Investment of $ 20,500 million to improve a key corridor between Santagueda and Manizales. -
Improvement of perimeter pathways in Pácora:
More than $ 2 billion destined to enhance tourism, mobility and local commerce. -
Pavement of the Salamina Via – La Merced:

Construction of the La Violeta Sports Complex in Neira:

More than $ 5.2 billion to benefit about 2,000 inhabitants who expected this work for more than two decades.
