The Ukrainian president denounced that Russia has also attacked in the last hours the regions of Zaporiyia, Donetsk, Zhitómir, Jersón, Dnipró and Sumi, where the Russian forces used at least one ballistic missile and several air pumps.
Rescue services, he added, work in the places of attacks to serve the victims.
“Only a substantial increase in the pressure on Russia and more forceful sanctions can pave the way to diplomacy. All measures that deprive the aggressor of resources to fight this war should be taken so that a lasting peace is reached,” said Zelenski, who thanked all countries that help Ukraine with air defense systems to protect his population from attacks like today.
