Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, announced on the social network X his departure to Russia to attend the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of over fascism and 65 years of restoration of relations between Cuba and Russia.

The of the Communist Party of Cuba, Díaz-Canel stressed: “Cuba will be this May 9 in the Red Square. It will be an honor.”

The ceremony took place in the mausoleum to the Soviet internationalist soldier, located on the outskirts of Havana, where the remains of combatants of the former Soviet republics who lost their lives in Cuba a rest.
