With great expectation for the next few days, the International Technology Hall for Disaster defense and Prevention (SITDEF) last the final details of what will be its tenth edition. As on other occasions, the headquarters of the Army of Peru has been the place chosen for the presence of the Armed Forces of Peru and dozen exhibitors, including military zone.
Sitdef 2025 will officially begin tomorrow, Wednesday, April 24, with an opening ceremony that will be attended by political authorities, military and representatives of the international defense industry. Among the exhibitors include those that maintain projects and expectations of advancing with re-equipment and modernization programs of the Armed Forces of Peru, including Hyundai Rotem, HD Hyundai, Saab, Iwi and Lockheed Martin.
As we knew how to advance, some of the most outstanding presences are the K2 Black Panther tank and the armored vehicle to fight wheels 8 × 8 K808 White Tiger, combat vehicles developed by the South Korean company Hyundai Rotem. It also highlights the presence of the Saab Jas 39 flu, model that is among the main candidates to take the Modernization Plan of the Peruvian Air Force.
Sitdef 2025 will have a large presence of the local armed forces and security forces, with numerous stands and contingents of the Peruvian army, Marine and Air Force of Peru. At the close of today’s day there was also a significant amount of material and vehicles, a team that will be part of the static exhibition.

SITDEF 2025 will congregate in the same space suppliers and experts in disasters security, defense and prevention, promoting interaction with official delegations, operational users, purchasing managers, investors, politicians and media.
Sitdef 2025 also contributes to the “… Modernization of the Armed Forces, Civil Defense, and National Police of Peru, with the latest advances in security, technology, cybersecurity and disaster prevention, reinforcing the processes of acquisition and negotiation …”in addition to “… Strengthen good relations between countries in the region, in order to achieve common objectives against external threats …”
