Through a release, Pluz Energía Peru – which serves 1.6 million users in northern Lima, Callao and Norte Chico – reported that its net profit decreased with respect to the same period of 2024 due to higher financial expenses associated with debt with third , amortizations, the decrease in the difference in and the growth of income tax. In this regard, the company said that between January and March, its financial expenses reached 2.2 million soles, which accounted for an of 6.3%. “These factors were partially compensated by the increase in Ebidta,” the firm said without detailing the amount of income obtained during the first three months of this year.

Similarly, Pluz Energía Peru reported that its net debt increased by 443 million soles. “The company maintains levels of leverage and coverage, consistent with the size of its operations and an optimization strategy of financial expenses, thus ensuring adequate solvency,” he repaired. Regarding the level of investments deployed, he said that the latter added 167 million soles during the reported period, 13 million soles more than during the first quarter of 2024.

At the same , Pluz Energía Peru reported that its ebidta increased by 1.9% during the first quarter of this year. The increase was explained mainly for higher income, which expanded thanks to a greater physical sale of greater consumption of customers, the firm detailed that

“This factor was partially compensated for a lower average sale (-0.5%) due to the lower tariff indexation by IPM, according to the country’s regulatory scheme and a lower sales volume in the regulated customer segment (-0.1%),” he said. The company also reported an increase in “other operational income”, associated with a greater execution of complementary infrastructure works requested by institutional clients.

The company noted that its customers increased by 2.6% as a of new residential connections.
