They presented the book “Terra Preta” at the UTN in Paraná

The National Technological (UTN) Paraná Regional Faculty was the scene of an act in commemoration of World of the Earth, in which the delivery of certifications corresponding to diplomatures in circular economy and inclusive recycling, formations developed cycle 2024 was made.

The Dean of the UTN Paraná, Alejandro Carrere, highlighted the role of engineering in the approach of current challenges: “Today we are delivering the certifications to those who have completed during 2024 this formative route of diploma in circular economy and inclusive recycling, which are very important concepts and fundamentally in all areas of the industry. In addition, Carrere stressed the institutional commitment to sustainable : “Today making this delivery on World Earth Day to reaffirm, on the other hand, our commitment to inclusion, with the sustainable practices that make the best quality of life of citizens.”

Presentation of the book “Terra Preta”

During the event, the “Terra Preta” was also presented, a book that addresses sustainable agronomic practices, written by the electromechanical engineer Wilfrey, graduated from the UTN Paraná. The publication was held by the academic community for its contribution to knowledge and debate on the sustainability applied from engineering.

Authorities stressed that the presentation occurred within the framework of a day that united recognition of professional with the promotion of practices committed to the environment. “We are also taking the opportunity to present this work of this colleague that has participated more than once, the engineer Wilfrey, who is a graduate of our university, an electromechanical engineer, with a work that also has a lot to do with a very important relationship with what today summons us: this recognition of these people of very different journeys, various profiles, also professionals,” they said.

The proposal was accompanied by teachers, , professionals and members of organizations linked to environmental management, who celebrated both the training provided by the University and the impulse to new academic productions.
