The Municipality of Los Olivosin coordination with the national Identification and Civil Status (RENIEC)will carry out this Friday April 25 a new free day of the National Identity Document (DNI) electronic. The campaign aims to facilitate access to legal identity for children, adolescents and older adults in the district, promoting citizen inclusion and full civil rights exercise.
The activity will be carried out from 9:30 am to 1 PM in the front of the Municipal Veterinary Patitas Olivenseslocated in a central and easily accessible area for the residents of the district.

This activity is part of a sustained policy of the Municipality of Los Olivos for bringing public services to citizens. It is not the first time that this type’s campaign is organized. On previous occasions, similar days that have benefited hundreds of neighbors have been developed.

He National Identification and Civil Status (Reniec) launched, a few days ago, the new Electronic DNI 3.0, marking an important milestone in its commitment to provide a more modern and sure document that facilitates the identification of citizens in all regions of the country. With 64 security elements, this new DNI is consolidated as the most advanced and reliable in Latin America thanks to its technological improvements with respect to previous versions.
Among its main innovations is a compound card entirely of polycarbonate, a heat resistant material and UV raysand a cryptographic chip responsible for processing personal data. Regarding protection measures, this document incorporates microimanes, high -definition texts and an exclusive QR code in the back to allow double scan verification.
The visual aspect has also been updated with a multicolored impression that combines tones of grayish green, yellow, violet and blue. As representative elements of Peruvian identity, it includes figures such as the Gallito de las Rocas, the dance of the sailor, the passing horse and the Chan Chan ruins. It also retains the image of Machu Picchu and integrates the isotype of the RENIEC.
