From April 26 to May 3, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) will carry out the Vaccination Week in Las Américas (SVA) 2025, for which there will be 388 health establishments and 39 fixed points, in markets, parks and shopping centers located in Lima Norte, Central, South and East, facilitating the population access to the vaccines.
The Executive Director of Immunizations of Minsa, Magdalena Quepuy Izarra, indicated that vaccination brigades will mobilize throughout Lima to reach the population that for some reason cannot be mobilized, so that children under 5 years and older adults are protected that are the most vulnerable population to diseases. Also, children over 5, adolescents, youth and adults, according to the national vaccination scheme. Therefore, he asked the population to give the facilities to the brigades so that they can enter their homes.
“This work has been articulated with the four DIRIS of Metropolitan Lima, to carry health and protection with vaccination to the population of Lima, which aims to apply 244 623 dose, and thus contribute to the great national goal of 1 020 994 of doses applied throughout the country”Said the executive director.
