A deep consternation seizes the rural community of Santa Rosa de Cabal, Caldas, after the arrest of a shepherd of a Christian church.
The man is accused of subjecting his 13 -year -old stepdaughter to a brutal aggression that included rape, torture and attempted murder.
The events were triggered this April 30. The victim remained eight hours retained in the family farm, where her aggressor, allegedly, had excavated a pit with the intention of burying her after killing her.
In an act desperate for her survival, the child managed to unleash on Wednesday morning. Wrapped in a sheet and with obvious marks of adhesive tape on the neck and wrists, he fled from his captor, who persecuted her closely.
Neighbors who traveled through the place witnessed the chilling scene and came to the girl’s aid.
After releasing her from the tapes that oppressed her mouth, the child shouted “she raped me, raped me, wants to kill me.”
Security cameras recorded the moment the aggressor pursued the victim.
The child receives medical and psychological attention in a health center in Santa Rosa de Cabal. The Colombian Family Welfare Institute activated the FUCSIA Code and the Unit of Children and Adolescence provides accompaniment to the victim.
The Attorney General’s Office acted quickly, compiled overwhelming evidence and legalized the capture of the individual.
The crimes of aggravated sexual aggression, attempt at homicide, kidnapping and torture are charged.
