
The Music Music Service of Amazon Music Unlimited has introduced a new price table with which the subscriptions to the individual plans (with and without prime membership) and family, an increase that will initially fall in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.
Subscribers to the platform have received an email in which the company reports that the price of individual plans and 3 dollars per month, that of family plans, as shared by Reddit on the platform and the firm itself on its website will increase.
This is the first time that Amazon Music Unlimited modifies the prices of subscriptions since 2023, as Android Police recalls, which has indicated that Amazon has shared this change in the websites of the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
For the prime members of Amazon Music Unlimited, the monthly cost will go from current 10 dollars to $ 11 -109 per year instead of the 99 it cost until now -while the family plan will go from 17 to 20 dollars per month. That is, from $ 169 to $ 199 a year.
This increase will also affect users not to be members of the Prime service, who will pay $ 11.99 instead of the $ 10.99 that they paid so far, as the company has indicated on its website of questions and answers.
On the other hand, the price changes in the United Kingdom will be 9.99 pounds to 10.99 pounds per month for prime members -99 pounds to 109 pounds annually -from 10.99 to 11.99 pounds per month for those users of Amazon Music Unlimited who do not have prime membership; and from 17.99 to 19.99 pounds monthly – from 179 to 199 pounds a year – for users of the family plan.
The new clients who register at Amazon Music Unlimited will have to pay these prices from the beginning. However, for users already registered on their platform, the updated price will be in force on the next monthly renewal billing date, as of March 5.
