Avengers, assemble — for the newest Marvel movie release!
Several stars of the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday got together for a screening of Thunderbolts*in theaters now, as seen in an Instagram photo shared by Simu Liu on Friday, May 2.
The Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star was joined by Winston Duke, Paul Rudd, Robert Downey Jr., Channing Tatum, Chris Hemsworth and Anthony Mackie for the film outing, where they all posed for the camera with the Thunderbolts* logo behind them.
“It’s movie Night with the boys … get your tix! #thunderbolts*,” Liu, 36, wrote in his caption.

Comments were overwhelmingly enthusiastic under Liu’s post, with one joking of Downey’s upcoming villain, “Dr. Doom himself studying ways to take out the avengers and X-men.”
“Y’all about to make a name for yourselves,” another fan wrote, in a nod to a viral line spoken by Gambit (Tatum, 45) in last year’s Deadpool & Wolverine.
An additional photo the Barbie actor shared to his Instagram Stories showed the guys posing together, with Downey, 60, appearing to fist-pump the air.
The latter group photo also included two new additions to the MCU: Vanessa Kirby and Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who will lead the next Marvel Studios flick, The Fantastic Four: First Stepsalong with Pedro Pascal and Joseph Quinn.
Downey shared similar snaps to his Instagram grid, writing, “Just wow!!! Dinner and a show with the Old Avengers. So cool, fresh, and deep. Big congrats to the New Avengers (and Bob). #thunderbolts.”

Downey, who famously played Iron Man in the MCU beginning with 2008’s Iron Manwill return to the MCU as Doctor Doom in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday.
He will be joined by all of the aforementioned actors, as well as other cross-franchise veterans like Sebastian Stan, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tom Hiddleston, Letitia Wright, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn and Kelsey Grammer.
For now, Pugh, 29, Stan, 42, Harbour, 50, and Dreyfus, 64, star in Thunderbolts*, where the titular group learns they can work better together than alone in a universe currently lacking a unified Avengers-type team as they encounter a new superhuman, “Bob” (Lewis Pullman).
Directed by Jake Schreier, the movie also stars Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Hannah John-Kamen, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer and Wendell Pierce.
Thunderbolts* is in theaters now.
