Book conversation about Colonia Dignidad

The Museum of Memory invites this presentation that brings together three Editorial Lom books that inquire and talk about Dignity Colony.

These three investigations seek to unravel responses to the numerous crimes against rights and the enigmas that surround the current “Villa Baviera”, through historiographic reconstruction from its double and repressive dimension:

-“Colonia Dignity: Between memory and oblivion. Approaches to the memories of the inhabitants of the current Villa Baviera” by Meike Dreckmann-Nienien

– “From the“ El laundo ”hospital to the“ Villa Baviera ”hospital. Historiographic reconstruction of the Hospital de Colonia Dignidad” by Evelyn Hevia Jordán.

-“The Colonia Dignidad case. The foreign policy and the Judiciary in the Federal Republic of Germany in the face of human rights violations (1961-2020)” by Jan Stehle
