“Since my parents were never my birthdays,” says Daniel Fuenzalida with the voice with emotion, sometimes enduring tears, in a video that shared this weekend when he celebrated his 53 years.
The communicator who lives his moment of glory with his programs on TVN published a message where he remembers and recalls his mother, who died in 2021, and his dad, whose death produced in 2023. He attributes them and thanks having sent him all the good things that are happening to him.
The animator also thanks all the people who have entered his life and, then, on Saturday night, he met in a place to turn off the candles of a cake that his only daughter, Ignacia, 23, presented him: 23 years old:
«The last three or four years, since when my mother left, magical things began to happen. Then, when my dad left, too. And I do not mean only work, also personally. They send precise people. I have met them physically, others have been virtually.
«It is impressive how I have generated ties with people through Instagram, WhatsApp, people who graphically will never meet, and people who have crossed and have made a friendship, a beautiful relationship.
«I still maintain the friendships of 20, 25, 30 years, even 53, which are the ones I am fulfilling today. There are people who have gone, have left, people as important as parents, who always says they are prepared, but is not prepared. That is why birthdays are always different because at this time, or even last night, at twelve, that call or dad would have arrived.
«I always talk a lot about my parents, and I want to talk about the people who have come to my life, wonderful. There are some that have arrived in this last time and I am sure that they (their parents) have sent me to these people. And you know who they are. People who are with me, who relate to me and others who have never seen me, who give me love through social networks, through the program, radio, television, the podcast.
«Other people who have managed to consolidate a friendship, be. So I want to thank for the people who have arrived. I am always grateful for years, asking for something. One is getting older, then I ask for health to be able to enjoy every moment and day I am living.
«And I do not mean only the work, that for me to be on a television set, or in front of a microphone on the radio, or what has happened in the podcast, is what I am most passionate about. I refer to day to day, to be able to enjoy the simple things, one day like today, here in Santiago it is beautiful. Enjoying my daughter, I’m going to name her, because my daughter is … (she gets excited) is the engine in my life.
«I think something different for me comes, a consolidation in the most personal part, a beautiful year, and from now on several things are consolidated. You always have to say it, you have to talk, verbalize it, especially in a day like today, which is one’s birthday … thank them (their parents) who have sent me everything … Not only at work have sent me to the indicated people. I have even thought about the last time that what happened to me with the voice, the product of a vocal load, which does not suddenly come out of my voice, it can be even a call for my mother’s attention, which told me ‘you work so much’. Maybe she is telling me to go down a change.
