The City Council has announced that “in the next few days” it will reopen the 26 parking spaces located in the building attached to the Ruiz Jiménez College, located on Molino de la Condesa street, next to the Infanta Leonor Theater. The mayor, Julio Millán, recalled that this space was enabled in 2022 “while works were executed” in the streets of the environment since the space to park was reduced “to the minimum expression.”
The councilor has lamented that “with the PP in the City Council the parking lot was closed and thus has remained a year and a half. Now, with the Epassa entrustment (Public parking company) of the Consistory these new places will be put for rent.”
In the next few days the bases will be published to be able to opt for one of the parking lots. In addition, and in the event that the number of applications exceeds the offer, a public draw will be carried out before the notary for the award.
Finally, Millán summed up that, “together with the interventions we did in the previous mandate allows us to improve the living conditions of the families of this area that have not transferred that it is a necessity.” Remember that “in these neighborhoods the parking provision is fundamental and therefore I believe that it is a good tool, a good resource that is made available from the City Council of the city.”
