The spokesman for the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Basem Naim, has ruled out on Tuesday to dialogue with the Israeli authorities before the continued “War of extermination and hunger” unleashed against the population of the Gaza Strip, so he has assured that it is a “nonsense” trying to talk about the release of the hostages that are kidnapped in the Palestinian enclave.
Naim has indicated that any negotiation for a high fire “lacks meaning” given the Israeli policy imposed against Gaza, so it has urged the international community to exert greater pressure to count the government of Israel to “stop hunger.”
In this sense, he has emphasized the importance of exerting pressure on Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, especially from the United Nations institutions. “You have to take measures urgently to deliver help in Gaza to Media that hunger progresses,” he said, according to statements collected by the newspaper ‘Fisin’, related to Hamas.
His words arrive after the Israeli security cabinet approved on Monday the expansion of armed activities in the enclave under the premise of “conquering Gaza and retaining the territories.”
The plan, which provides for the expansion of Israeli military operations and has presented by the head of the Defense Forces (FDI), Eyal Zamir, raises the displacement of the Gazati population towards the south and measures to prevent Hamas from controlling the aid.
