València (EFE) .- The judge who instructs the criminal case on the Dana has agreed to mention as a witness who was the chief of cabinet of the former justice and interior console Salome Pradas- one of the two people charged in the cause- the day of floods in which 228 people died in Valencia.
This is recorded in the head of the Court of First Instance and Instruction 3 of Catarroja (Valencia), Nuria Ruiz Tobarra, which has been notified on Wednesday to the parties personally in the case and in which it accepts several requests of one of the popular accusations, the FETAP-CGT union.
Sources of the union have explained to Efe that they had requested the testimony of the former Pradas Cabinet Chief because, as explained by the former contestation herself in her statement as investigated before the judge, she is from Benetússer, one of the localities affected by the Poyo ravine.
Pradas gave this example to the judge to affirm that in the Cecopi they were not aware that the overflow of the ravine of the poyo had occurred until 21 hours on the day of the Dana and influence that if I had known what was happening, it would have warned, just as another person who was there and was of Paiporta would have done.
Witnesses must respond truthfully all parties
From FETAP-CGT they have stressed that the fact that the former Pradas Cabinet Chief has been summoned as a witness is important, since the ex-manager, as an investigated, only answered the questions of his lawyer, but when he is witnessing you have to answer all the parties and there is an obligation to tell the truth.
In addition, the union considers that in his status as chief of cabinet of whom on the day of the tragedy he was responsible for coordinating the emergency can have important information to contribute to what happened, as well as if he received calls from family or friends about the flooding of his municipality.
-The instructional judge has made a statement so far to the two people investigated in the case -the former pradly exconsellera and who was their number two, Emilio Argüeso -as well as more than 250 witnesses, mostly relatives of the victims, but also experts, workers of 112, technicians and the Government delegate in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé.

Emergencies calls for notices to the municipalities of 29-O
On the other hand, the judge has asked the Emergency Coordination Center of the Generalitat to report the notices that the municipalities gave that day at the risk of floods to take control measures on the river channels.
