In the sea of Chinese brands dedicated to automotive it is easy to get confused, although only a small part of them have arrived. Livan is a firm that belongs to the Geely group and is therefore twinned with Volvo, Polestar, Lynk & Co, Lotus or Proton, among other Chinese giant companies.
Livan landed in Spain by the hand of the undict, which also exports other brands of the Eastern Giant such as DFSK, beings, BAIC or Avantier, and which was presented in Spain last November with its Urban SUV X3 Pro.
Now its ‘brother’, the X6 Pro, a SUV of segment C, which is preparing to compete against models as implanted in Spain as the Nissan Qashqai or the Hyundai Tucson, in one of the segments of greatest roots in our country, arrives in Spain.

Design
The weapons presented by the Livan X6 Pro begin with its attractive exterior design, with a modern and attractive front that incorporates a large grill and some LED headlights also of generous size, manufactured by the German firm Osram and that promise a useful life of ten years, which together gives it a very sporty appearance to the vehicle.
The rear of the car is no less striking with its luminous firm ‘Skyline’, which runs through the entire rear and a small spoiler that houses the third brake light at the top. In addition, its Bicolor ‘Blade’ tires also contribute to providing the Livan X6 pro with a robust and sports appearance.

Interior
The interior presents minimalist and well -maintained lines, as we usually see in all vehicles from China in recent times and with a brutal luminosity thanks to its standard panoramic roof. The driving posture is comfortable, with an electrical system to regulate the seat that, by the way, is especially fluffy and comfortable, something common to the other sidewalks of the car, both in front and behind.
The instrument box is linked to the infotainment screen through a unique monitor and not two ‘stuck’ as we see in other models. There are 24.6 inches, half for each of them. It also presents a small 4.2 -inch screen to handle the air conditioner or the volume of the sound system.

The front seats are comfortable and wide, as well as the rear, surprisingly large for a vehicle in this segment. The injured party of this inner amplitude is the trunk, surely one of the weak points of this Livan X6 Pro, with only 359 liters, when its rivals are much closer to the 500 liters.

Mechanics
If we say that the trunk could be one of the weak points, without a doubt, one of its forts would be the engine. A well -proven propeller of the Geely group and developed by Lynk & Co and Volvo. This is the well -known 1.5 TGDI Block Turbo of gasoline that delivers 174 hp and records a homologated consumption of 6.8 liters per 100 km.
This mechanic does not incorporate any hybridization, so in our country the car is equipped with the C label, something that can be a handicap for people who use ZBE a lot (low emissions areas), but that should not be an obstacle to users who do not have to circulate through them.
The seven -speed automatic gearbox with double clutch and bathed in oil, developed by Geely, confers sports driving, thanks to its rapid response and also helps the engine efficiency and maintain low consumption in any of the three driving modes: echo, comfort and sport.

Under way
In this first contact, we had the opportunity to try the car on a combined highway and conventional road route. Highway driving is comfortable and soft, using the comfort mode that is the one that appears by default when the vehicle starts. The 174 hp engine helps incorporation and overtaking maneuvers with their rapid response and good power delivery.
On conventional road, alternating comfort and sport modes, the behavior is still good to make a quiet driving, although its direction is not entirely precise. In Sport mode, demanding a little more to the car, the engine power continues to be positively noticed, although here we miss a slightly harder direction and less fluffy brakes.
