The state of Israel will be represented by its ambassador to Russia, Simona Halperin, who will be accompanied by six veterans and survivors of the Holocaust, in the celebrations for the 80 years of the victory of the Red Army over Nazi Germany.
According to sources from the Foreign Ministry, there will be no changes compared to previous years in the representation of Israel and the parade will attend its ambassador to Moscow. Next to her there will be six veterans and survivors of the Holocaust who will travel there from Israel.
The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and the prime minister, Benjamín Netanyahu, exchanged congratulations on the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army over Nazi Germany held on May 9.
