The states that have the greatest attraction in this area are: Baja California, Baja California Sur, Chihuahua, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Nuevo León, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, Sonora, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Yucatán, Mexico City, mainly.

“Mexico is the second country receiving patients for medical tourism in the , after Thailand. And Baja California, especially Tijuana are the main receptors with 3 million visitors, of which 60 to 70 percent come to Tijuana and from these 3 million visitors a 40 percent come for health tourism with an spill of 2,500 million dollars.”
