Caroní Mayor’s Office: Jobs in Cárcava de Vista al Sol have an 80 % advance

The first project initiated by the Bolivarian Mayor’s Office of Caroní in 2,025 carries 80 % progress and continues with a restrained structural work. This is the gullie of the sun, in the victory, which was converted into waste landfill, but now it presents a new panoramic view thanks to the work that the municipality has been doing.

To approach, the Mayor’s Office of Caroní extracted during the first phase of the works, 5,750 tons of solid waste with 280 truck trips to the municipal landfill.

Since January 3, a total of 32 people remain working without pause, and the magnitude of the work has required the use of a diversity of heavy machinery, used in removal, terrace, compaction, transfer of rocks, adding many hours/work machines.

Jumbo, compactor vibro, backhoe, mini show, dump trucks, lowboy, tank truck, hydraulic arm, among other equipment have been used in the development of the work, all owned by the municipality within the operations staff of the Guayana Services Corporation and Guayana works, which represents large savings in investment, given the magnitude of the project.

To date, 3,200 tons of lung stone have been placed for the construction of gavion walls that serve as containment of the land, the total of this amount extracted by the corporation, also deriving in a significant savings of resources.

The works involved the placement of sewage and storm drain pipes, and the first level of gavions was completed together with the spring filter.

The work in gavion walls and filling compaction for the culmination of the slope to the level of the roads continue.
