La Vega .. – Within the framework of the permanent actions developed by the National Police to face the crime and guarantee the clarification of criminal acts, it was voluntarily delivered, at the headquarters of the Investigation Department (DICRIM) in La Vega, an indicated man who was sought for his alleged participation in a violent assault perpetrated in a betting bank of that city.
This is Randy Antonio Barrera Suriel, 28, who appeared on the morning of Tuesday, May 6, accompanied by his lawyer, after being linked to a fact recorded on May 5 in the sports betting bank, where the citizen Henry Manuel Martínez Cabreja, 55, with multiple traumas in the skull, face, thorax and pelvis was seriously injured.
The delivery of the involved occurred in attention to the arrest warrant No. 2025-AJ0027641, issued by alleged violation of articles 265, 266, 379 and 383 of the Dominican Criminal Code, which typify the crimes of an association of malechechors and aggravated robbery.
It is recalled that by this same case they were arrested Dayeli Michelli Guzmán Rojas, Wilky Melissa Caraballo Lora and his brother Anthony Joel Barrera Suriel (a) Yoel, who was injured when facing the police officers who followed him.
The detainee was made available to the Public Ministry, for the corresponding legal purposes.
