The Civil Guard of Segovia has arrested a 42 -year -old man in Valverde del Majano as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health related to drug trafficking. The events occurred on May 7 during an operation carried out in the municipality of Valverde del Majano for the prevention of citizen security. Agents of the Segovia post identified a vehicle whose driver ignored Alto’s signs, undertaking the flight through an evasive maneuver.
The man was finally intercepted at the time he tried to get rid of a plastic container throwing it to the ground. In the interior of the container several small bags were found that, after their analysis by reactive test, gave a positive result in cocaine.
In the registration of their belongings, other elements associated with drug trafficking were located, including a second container with a similar substance, as well as a precision scale used for dose fractionation. The seized drug amounted to a total of 27 grams of cocaine, distributed in five small bags, four of them approximately one gram and one larger size with an estimated weight of 23 grams.
The detainee, together with the police proceedings, was made available to the Judicial Authority of Segovia.
