In 1949 two works of very different visions were published, but of shared concern: «Spain as a problem», by Pedro Laín Entralgo, and «Spain without problem», by Rafael Calvo Serer, which was understood as an answer to Laín. The common objective: to reveal the problematic being of our country discussed by intellectuals since more than a century earlier. The clash between tradition and change, so many times tired of blood. Laín stops in “the dramatic inability of the Spaniards, for a century and a half, to make their homeland a minimally satisfied country of its political and social constitution.” And we continue in that “dramatic inability.” It is the resurrection of the two Spain of yesteryear now separated by the wall raised by Sánchez. His on one side and to the other all others.
This is the main problem of Spain today. It has a name: Sánchez. Wrapped in his superb, egocentric, false, unscrupulous. He is weak, fearful, but with an excessive concept of himself and perhaps the most harmful: without ideology. Everything ideologizes, but lacks defined and permanent ideology. It is changing. He moves like a reed to the winds that hit him. Use a more moderate or more radical ideological costume as it suits. In Brussels he fads his radicalism, and in Spain he exasperates him. I am happy to their government partners who are, as their assumed communism, of another time. Even China had to access a mixture with capitalism. He keeps his people without voice or freedom, but he lets him those of trust. And, meanwhile, it is armed for what can come.
Sánchez’s flag is the slogan, the commandment of a political religion, authentic opium for a deceived, clueless and silent people. It relies on a palm tree bench that owes it charges and salaries. when Sanchismo falls, everyone will fall with him. It is a blind flock towards the cliff repeating “yes Bwana.” Sometimes it amazes me. A collective political suicide is not easily understandable. The goal of the master is to polarize, divide, face, insult and confuse. Thanks to that resistance manual at any price, it maintains its imperial dreams on Moncloa’s mattress. He can’t go out without receiving verbal cornadas, but he doesn’t care. He probably does not admit it as true; Reality is out of control.
-Sánchez is at a rudder without a ship. And its related ghost, submissive passengers, listen, impertérritos, muddy music towards the fatal iceberg. It traces, cheats and deceives us, is happy with the mirrors, worship itself, lies, gives explanations of anything because he feels above everything and everyone. And, above all, of the truth. Ideologizes everything, but does not manage, it does not solve. Magdalena Álvarez, when named Minister by Zapatero, affirmed that of “the infrastructure are left.” He did nothing, but the ideological phrase remained. The infrastructure planned in 2004 against the floods that would have avoided the serious effects of the Dana were not undertaken. Bridge, the Faltón, the lost link, has sunk the previously admirable rail efficiency. He doesn’t find out anything and continues to congratulate himself. An erroneous energy policy, with overvaluation of the renewables, despised the nuclear and intends to close them while France reinforces them and the EU bets on them. Even Teresa Ribera is now in favor of nuclear energy after her thunderous failure in Spain. His salary leads this useless to change ideas.
Sánchez wanted to appear in the EU as the architect of a vain dream: he would get the greenest country, the champion of the renewables. And his hand went. The result was the great blackout, the national chaos and at least five dead. France and Morocco saved us. There will never be explanations from Sánchez. A advice of friendly experts summons us for six months, waiting for the problem to be forgotten. But the explanation is Sánchez, his incompetence raised from a runaway ego.
This is the main problem facing Spain. A single man, fanatic, who believes herself clairvoyant and does not go from being a mediocre with luck surrounded by chains that without him would not have raised the pedestals from those who look with contempt for the rest of the Spaniards. Pages of our history collect similar despicable conjunctures. Spain left them. The damage will be there and seriously affect those who arrive later. But Sánchez and his, already lost in shadows, will not care.
