SEVILLA 24 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The main post office of Seville, located on Avenida de la Constitución 32, hosts the sample of two new philatelic collections. Coinciding with the opening of the bullfighting season in Seville, the collection ‘Los Toros in Filatelia and Collecting’, by Juan Ignacio Pérez, is exhibited as an open class collection. This collection includes postal elements-sells, envelopes, letters and matsellos-and is complemented with other non-postal elements, such as old tenths of lottery, labels and vitolas.
These additional elements are indispensable to make sense of the different sections that describe bullfighting. In this sense, visitors can learn more about the bullfighting party and its protagonists, Correos reports in a statement.
On the other hand, the Spanish Fiscal Filatelia collection ‘, by Manuel García de la Cuesta, shows adhesive timbres that justify the payment of taxes or fees to national, provincial or local authorities, granting legal value to public documents.
The collection includes sections such as the Timbre Society, policies, sales taxes, taxes on matches and trade books, among others. This exhibition invites a time trip, since the sealed paper began to be used in Spain in 1637.
This is the seventeenth exhibition organized by the Sevillian Philatelic Society in the main post office. The sample can be enjoyed from Monday to Friday, from 8.30 am to 8.30 pm, until the end of May.
During the visit, various efforts can be made at the Post Office, which offers a wide variety of products and services. Among these are the sale of packaging and stamps, the sending of packages, the collection of receipts and the sending of money. In addition, digital services are provided such as sending documentation to public records through ORVE, the payment of taxes through Pay Correos, procedures with the DGT and the sale of Red Cross Lottery and Once.
