
The mayor of Guadalajara, Ana Guarinoshe received afternoon yesterday in the municipality of the City Council to the three base teams that have been classified for the national phase in their respective disciplines. In an act full of emotion and pride, the mayor has congratulated the young athletes for their achievements and has encouraged them to continue working with passion and commitment.
Together with the Councilor for Sports, Armengol EngongaGuarinos welcomed the Junior Male basketball team, by Guadalajara Basket, champions of the Castilla-La Mancha 24/25 and runners-up of the Regional League, who have also qualified for the Junior Spain Championship. In his words, Ana Guarinos has highlighted the effort and constancy of the players, congratulating them not only for their victories, but also for their dedication and responsibility in each game and training.
“If important are the victories, which are, the more it is to have done everything possible, have tried and have believed in yourself and in your team to get here,” said the mayor.
Reception to handball equipment

Sports agreements
In addition to receiving the classified teams, the mayor of Guadalajara proceeded to sign the collaboration agreements with the presidents of the respective clubs.
Thus, together with the president of Guadalajara Basket, Luis MirandaGuarinos signed the agreement for this basketball club, endowed with 28,000 euros. This club was created in 2011 and already has about 350 athletes committed in its quarry, with base teams in all school and federated categories and with a strong impulse to women’s sport.
With the president of the handball Guadalajara, Alejandro Ortizthe mayor has renewed the collaboration agreement for 150,000 euros, support from the City Council to the East Guadalajara club, also with a wide quarry and with her starting team in the highest category, in the Professional League of Asobal.
Both presidents thanked the collaboration of the City of Guadalajara and Mayor Ana Guarinos, as well as the improvement that is being carried out in sports facilities and the impulse to all sport in Guadalajara, with activities of all kinds, and with the celebration of that Sports Day, which unites all the clubs of the city, which will have its second edition on June 7.
