Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) is over Friday at the top once more in the Motul Fim world championship in Superbike after closing the day with three tenths of advantage over Toprak Razgatlioglu (Rokit Bmw Motorrad Worldsbk Team) Tenths after the two free training sessions in Cremona. Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team) has been third at the start of Acerbis Italian round, on a day in which Álvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) has suffered three falls.
Bulega, at the head and baptist for the soils: Opposite days for the Italian and the Spanish
As usual in 2025, Bulega has headed the Ducati offensive on Friday, staying first in both FP1 and FP2. His best chrono has been 1’29.158s of the FP1, being the best of the day. Even so, his 1’29,250s in the FP2 has also earned him to lead that session. His baptist partner has finished eighth despite having suffered three falls throughout the day: one in curve 2 during the FP1 and two more in the FP2, one in curve 8 and another in the curve 2. Sam Lowes Team) has been the fourth best Ducati pilot at the end of sixth, while Andrea Iannone (Team Pata Goleven), which has suffered a fall in the FP1 in curve 11, has concluded 11th. Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) has been 14th, Ryan Vickers (Motocorsa Racing) 19th and Wildcard Gabriele Ruiu (BMAX) has finished in the 23rd place.
Razgatlioglu, second: the final return of the ‘Turk’ gives him the first row
Toprak Razgatlioglu (Rokit BMW Motorrad Worldsbk Team) has marked a quick lap in the final minutes of the FP2 that has allowed him to climb to second place both in that session and in the combined, with a 1’29,465s, three tenths of his rival for the title. His partner Michael Van der Mark has been 16º with a 1’30.208S; The Dutch has been one of the five pilots who have fallen in the FP1, where appropriate in curve 11.
good start for Honda: Lecuona has been fourth
Honda has started well round Italian with Iker Lecuona (Honda HRC) in fourth position, so four different brands have occupied the Top 4. has marked a 1’29,621s in the first free training. His partner Xavi Vierge has been tenth in the combined after being seventh in the FP1, showing a good state of form at this weekend for the Japanese brand. Good pace for Bassani at home: Top 5 for ‘El Bocia’
Bimota’s offensive this Friday has been led by local hero Axel Bassani (Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team), which has been second in the FP2 and fifth in the combined, ahead of his partner Alex Lowes, which he has surpassed for a tenth. The Italian brand has thus started with good footing its first weekend at home from its return to Worldsbk. Bassani has suffered a fall in curve 13 during its last rapid return of the FP2, although it has been able to get back on the motorcycle.
Locatelli, seventh in another good performance and Rea is back
Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) has been the best Yamaha representative by signing the seventh position with a time of 1’29,704s in the FP2, half a second from the Bulega leader. Remy Gardner (Gytr Grt Yamaha Worldsbk Team) has been 12º, while Bahattin Sofuoglu (Yamaha Motoxringing Worldsbk Team) has surprised with the 15th position after scoring a 1’30.079s in the FP2. Dominique Aegerter (Gytr Grt Yamaha Worldsbk Team) has been 17º, just ahead of Jonathan Rea (Pata Maxus Yamaha), which has been 21º in his return after the injury. Tito Rabat (Yamaha Motoxringing Worldsbk Team) has concluded 22º.
Gerlof in the 18th position: just over a second of the leader
Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki Worldsbk Team) has closed Friday in the 18th place after improving its FP2 times with respect to FP1. He has registered a 1,30,448s, staying just over a second of the best time in Bulega.
