Ahead Andalucía denounced on Monday that in the bullring of the teacher of Seville “Bullfighting workshops for minors, during school hours and for public and concerted centers” have been organized.
At a press conference, this was stated by the person in charge of Organization of Adelante Andalucía, Néstor Salvador, who has indicated that a battery of questions to the Andalusian government has been registered in Parliament asking for explanations about this activity.
Specifically, he pointed out that, on April 24, a company organized in La Maestranza “a bullfighting workshop for minors, during schools”, with the “textual” objective that the “smaller ones make contact practical with bullfighting.”
“This is doubly serious, because minors should not attend an event that is violent and in which animal abuse is encouraged, such as bullfighting, while with public money you cannot finance bullfighting workshops for children,” he said.
He stated that it is “curious that the right, that complains that there is sex education in schools and says that it is a form of indoctrination, now worries so that children have bullfighting in their school hour.”
Salvador has accused the Andalusian Government of the PP-A to try to “inflate a balloon that falls, such as bullfighting, a business that remains for public subsidies, which is not viable, and that does not care less and less people.”
In this sense, ahead has registered in Parliament questions about this matter, above all, so that the Andalusian government explains if “it seems good that public funds are used to indoctrinate minors in animal violence.”
