This Wednesday, April 23, and within the framework of the International Book Day, the Rakute Kobo Digital Bookstore launched its subscription service “Kobo Plus”which will allow reading more than 1.5 million books and about 200,000 audiobooks, for an accessible monthly rate.
Kobo Plus will have an extensive catalog that will include literary classics to the last best sellers and editorial novelties. Among them will be works by the authors Eduardo Galeano, Ivonne Toro, Yanko González Cangas, Nona Fernández and Vicente Huidobro, as well as prominent titles that range from “crime and punishment”, “I, robot”, to “The world of yesterday”, “Trilogy of Fire” and “Emotional Intelligence”.
The director of Audiobros and Global Subscriptions of Kobo, Bart RobertsHe stressed that the service seeks to “improve the life of readers, providing unlimited access to their favorite stories when and wherever they want to expand this offer to Chile and allow more people to enjoy digital reading without limits.”
Kobo Plus users can choose three flexible subscription options, including:
· Kobo Plus Learn: Unlimited access to more than 1.5 million ebooks for $ 7,000 per month.
· Kobo plus listening: More than 200,000 audiobooks available for $ 7,000 per month.
· Kobo Plus Read and Listen: The perfect combination for those who enjoy both experiences, for only $ 9,000 per month.
To access the service, the Kobo Books application for iOS and Android must be downloaded, as well as in the Kobo ereaders. The subscription will also have updates and incorporation of new titles every month.
