The production of the long -awaited second season of “Reborn Rich” is already officially underway.
On May 8, Artist Company and his subsidiary Artist Studio, collectively known as Artist Group, officially announced that they have entered the planning and development phase of the second season of “Reborn Rich”, which marks the first collaborative project between both subsidiaries.
Artist Company, co -founded by Lee Jung Jae and Jung Woo Sung, will supervise planning and general development, while Artist Studio will be in charge of production. The latter acquired Raemongraein, the producer responsible for the first season, in 2024. Known mainly for its talent management, Artist Company has expanded its business to the creation of intellectual property and, through this project, aspires to consolidate as a producer of comprehensive dramas.
After the success of the first season, “Reborn Rich 2” will expand its narrative approach to the Korean corporate world to the global stage, weaving an ambitious story of success, power and love. The second season will present a new cast of characters and an expanded universe, which suggests a bold narrative turn.
The first season was starring Song Joong Ki as Yoon Hyun Woo, a loyal secretary of a family chaebol who is betrayed and killed after being incriminated by a crime and reincarnated as Jin do Joon, the youngest son of the same family that once served.
A representative of Artist Company commented: “This project is strategically designed for the global market. From the early planning stages, we have been creating a story and characters thinking about the international public.”
Although the return of Song Joong Ki has not yet been confirmed, Artist Group declared: “Our goal is to create another legendary season with a renewed cast and a script at the scale of the scale of the expanded universe.”
