The seizure of 189 kilos of cocaine last Saturday in Lobatera, has led to the arrest of five Cicpc officials of the Táchira delegation, who would allegedly be linked to the case.
At first, three of these officials were arrested, an inspector and two bosses detectives, who mobilized with a civilian in an official Cicpc truck and a Aveo car. Within the vehicles they carried five boxes of content of 170 cocaine panels, with a gross weight of 189 kilograms.
After the arrest of these agents and the review of their cell phones, the relationship with the head of the Táchira delegation, Luis Orlando Revilla Chirinos, who would be arrested hours later by officials of the Special Operations Group (GOES) was established.
Then, it was possible to know about the arrest of four GNB assigned to the point of attention to the citizen of Peracal, in the Bolívar municipality, being allegedly linked to the case. It is also known that there are two arrested civilians. One of them detained on the same Saturday in Lobatera.
Given the situation in the Cicpc in the Táchira, the national director himself, Douglas Rico, made an appearance in the delegation to supervise the investigations.
At the moment, the GOES and the rich same have already retired from the headquarters, but the open research continues and new arrests are registered.
From the director Douglas Rico, the new director of the delegation, Commissioner Jerry Quijano, who would be assuming his first management in the agency, was installed in Táchira.
The five detainee CICPC officials are in the delegation, including Revilla Chirinos, who until Friday had not been transferred to Caracas.
