The arbitration controversy between Cindy NahuelcoyLeslie Vásquez and Julio Bascuñán experienced a new episode, because the former line judge spoke of her retirement from the refereeing in the reality show Win or Serve.

Nahuelcoy was consulted on the television program about her departure from football and explained that “I went to talk to my boss (Bascuñán), I told him that there was an irregular situation that everyone was talking about. He said it was true and he told me to make a written complaint. We did it and it was shit.”

“He told me that if I spoke I would screw up my career. One day I couldn’t take it anymore, I decided to speak, I gave an interview to the press, I told the truth and the bastard ruined my career, because he took away my FIFA Patch. “With that patch I traveled all over the world,” Nahuelcoy said harshly on Channel 13.

Response from Roberto Tobar

Cindy Nahuelcoy’s statements were answered, because the president of the Referees Committee spoke, Roberto Tobarwho with a hint of arrogance commented on the words of the former line judge.

“I don’t have time to watch showbiz, I am very connected to what football is, refereeing, I am now giving a seminar to referees, advisors and leaders of Bolivian football. All my concentration is on this project and also not leaving aside the referees in Chile,” said Tobar.

In this way, Cindy Nahuelcoy’s chapter in Chilean soccer begins to close, because she is now dedicated to another area, being a television figure.
