Sainz’s manager believes that the “juggling” continues in the F1 market

Since Lewis Hamilton’s signing for the Ferrari team for the 2025 Formula 1 season became official, everyone is wondering what path Carlos Sainz will take next year. Many believe that he may have a place in Mercedes as a replacement for the seven-time champion, although others put him in a very different place, and that is as leader of the Audi projectspending a year at Sauber and thus being Nico Hulkenberg’s partner once his signing was confirmed.

His manager, who is also his cousin, was asked about all of this. Carlos Oñoro, and although he did not want to reveal much more about the Madrid native’s future, he assured that he has “a few” options to find a good seat in the highest category of motorsport. This is what he indicated on the F1 Nation podcast: “[Tiene] A few, a few. Let’s just say it’s an interesting period right now.”

However, it is a time to be calm, because, although there are some names that are reaching agreements with the Great Circus teams, Carlos Sainz will take a few weeks to reveal more thingsbut what does not seem likely is that he will be Max Verstappen’s teammate at Red Bull: “The driver market has been all over the place lately, and I think we will see some movement in the coming weeks.”

“However, for now, the juggling continues,” he commented before being asked If there would be any news before the Miami Grand Prix. “No, no, no. You can sleep well between China and Miami, don’t worry. There won’t be any big news, at least coming from us, surely not. We’re still playing, so we’ll see.”

For all this, it is expected that there will be no official announcement from any of the teams interested in the Spaniard, nor from the driver himself, who at the moment still without a contract for the 2025 season after Ferrari decided not to renew him after four years together in which they achieved three victories and 19 podiums.
