The defender appeared in Villarreal’s home win over Rayo Vallecano.
The yellow team began winning with a goal from Alexander Sorloth who received a great pass from Alex Baena and there defined a left-footed cross to open the scoring.
Already in the second half, Villarreal increased the score thanks to the goal of Colombian Yerson Mosquera. The defender rose in the area and took a header to beat Stole Dimitrievski who could not withstand the coffee grower’s shot.
This is Mosquera’s first goal in the Spanish League after eleven games played and his second since arriving at Villarreal. He had previously scored in the Europa League against Olympique Marseille.
