Joel Embiid and Kelly Oubre Jr. missed Sixers practice this Tuesday ahead of Game 5 against the Knicks.

NEW YORK – So much Joel Embiid and Kelly Oubre Jr. missed Philadelphia 76ers shootaround this Tuesday ahead of Game 5 of their first-round series against the New York Knicks.

Embiid missed it due to a migrainewhile Oubre suffered from an illness. Embiid, who was already questionable due to his left knee injury, maintains that status, while Oubre was listed on the injury report as probable to play.

Philadelphia enters Game 5 trailing 3-1 in this best of seven series, and on the verge of being eliminated in the first two rounds of the playoffs for the seventh consecutive seasondespite being outscored by a total of four points in the first four games of the series, thanks in part to blowing a 5-point lead in the final 30 seconds of Game 2 last week.

Embiidwho has returned less than a month after an operation on the lateral meniscus of his left knee, averages 35 points, 9 rebounds and 5.5 assists in the first four games, while Oubre has been one of the pmain defenders of Knicks star Jalen Brunson.
